Eckville Elementary School will have indoor recesses when the temerature is -25 C. This includes temperatures that drop to -25 C with the wind chill. Outdoor recesses will otherwise be planned for.
Students need to be properly prepared for winter weather, including snow pants, toques and gloves or mitts.
This morning recess it was a close call with it being a sunny -21 C, feeling like -24 C.
