This is a busy week at Eckville Elementary School! We have Parent-Teacher Interviews on Thursday and a PD Day on Friday. It is an extra long weekend for Thanksgiving with Monday off as well.
Also on Thursday, we have our first Thanksgiving Canteen to support Grade 6 CAMP. All items are $2 and we will have chips, chocolate bars and pop/iced tea available.
On Wednesday we are celebrating the Oilers return to the ice (and most other Canadian teams) with our first spirit day of the year. We encourage everyone to wear your favorite sports team t-shirt or jersey! Any Leafs, Canucks, or Flames attire will be confiscated and buried out back of the school!
Wednesday night at midnight is the due date for ordering our first Hot Lunch, which will be Hot Dogs on October 17.
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday we have Volleyball and Cross Country Running still going on as well.
