Student safety is our number one concern and we heard loud and clear the challenges with our previous procedure.
After meeting with the town representatives and our Wolf Creek Facilities Manager, we determined a new plan that focuses on student safety. There is updated signage and paint on the roadway to help communicate these changes.
School busses will drop off and pick up out front of the school with the one-way street in front of the school being a SCHOOL BUS ONLY zone before and after school. Parents will enter the parking lot for the bus barns and drop students off at the end of the sidewalk, then exit out behind the bus barn and back to 1st Street.
BFPA and Kindergarten parents may park along the edge of the field to walk their students into the school. THIS PORTION of our plan is still being marked to ensure safety and clarity.
I personally contacted every family registered at EES to discuss these changes and posted this information on our school website and Facebook feed.
