Eckville Elementary has a couple of special announcements from the summer!

We want to congratulate our Grade 3 teacher, Mrs. Landin, on her wedding over the summer! She is now the new Mrs. Thomson! 

Also getting married this summer was our BFPA Pre-Kindergarten teacher, Miss Hazel! She is the new Mrs. Cooper but she is still Miss Hazel for us in PreK!

CONGRATULATIONS TO YOU BOTH!!

SAD NEWS PART...

Mrs. Cooper unfortunately moved really far away from us over the summer and is going to be leaving our school at the end of this month. 

Miss Hazel is irreplaceable and we will miss her so much! We are holding interviews for a new teacher in the PreK classroom and we plan to have 2 weeks of transition time for the new teacher to spend with Miss Hazel. This will help the new teacher to meet the kids and get used to the classroom routines that have been started.

We are sad to see her go but we wish Mrs. Cooper the best and we know she will be an amazing teacher wherever she lands!
